Access and Car Parking
Parking stewards will show you where to park in our free car park when you arrive. There is a free shuttle bus to bring you both to and from the event. Last bus for the daytime is 6pm and after the evening shows at 10.00pm. Campers and exhibitors who are staying at Merry Farm can use the designated What’s App Group to arrange pick up to and from the site with their own designated vintage bus. This incudes early morning runs for exhibitors.
Disabled Provision
The event is held outdoors and under canvas. The field is fairly even, but it is a field nonetheless, and bumpy in places with some uneven spaces as it is farmland. It is also quite a large area, so wheelchair users would be wise to have someone come with them to help if needed. Several local companies hire mobility scooters so for those with mobility needs, this might be an option to consider.
Entrance and exits are accessible. Toilets include disabled provision.
Disabled parking will be available at the front for Blue Badges only, but is limited. Once these spaces have gone, parking will be in our car park with free shuttle bus to and from the site. Drop off directly outside is possible too. No car parking is permitted for safety reasons on the grass verges of New Road.
Weather
Do please be mindful and aware of how weather can affect us at an outdoor event. If it is hot and sunny, make sure you and your family have adequate sun protection, sun screens, hats and plenty of water to keep hydrated. We have a standpipe onsite so you will be able to fill your water bottle any time you wish. If it rains, then wet weather gear including boots or wellingtons are advised. There are plenty of under cover places to take shelter.
Cash Facilities
There is no cash machine at the event. Please follow the links to find out where the nearest cashpoints are in the area. Most stands take card payments.

Children
Children are very welcome at the event. Parents are responsible for supervising and maintaining their child's safety and whereabouts at all times. Children are not permitted to roam unsupervised for their own safety and the safety of others, both people and animals. All children will be given a wristband upon entry. Parent/carers contact details will be written on them in case they get separated. There will be free children's activities and workshops on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The children’s area is located in The Orchard, and is run by a qualified children’s worker. As well as our programmed activities, parents/carers are welcome to drop into the easily spotted ‘pointy hat’ marquee with children to take time out and rest, or do some colouring, share a story etc.
Bringing Animals on Site
Dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. We are located adjacent to a wildlife sanctuary and there will be many people attending. Please be aware of the effects of excess heat upon your animal if the weather is hot and consider whether it may be best to leave them at home. Water and dog drinking bowls are located around the site
Well Being at the Event
The nature of this event is by very nature of its title, a generally a very relaxed experience. There are a number of seated areas under cover scattered around the event where people can relax. We also have Millenium Wood, a small area where you can find peace and quiet walking through nature and our Memorial Area with space for shade and rest. If at any time you or someone you are with feels overwhelmed, do make yourself know to one of our Blue shirt crew. They will direct you to someone who will be able to help find a quiet space for you to take time out.
Daily Workshops, Demonstrations, Workshops, Talks and Performances
The printed Healing Weekend Programme contains all what's on listings. There will also be more detailed information about the programme available inside the ticket office, Performance Marquee and Workshop Marquees. The programme may be subject to change or addition.
Photography and Filming
Whilst you are welcome to take personal photos or film at the event, no images taken at the event can be used for commercial use by any individual or company without prior agreement and written consent from THWA. This does not mean people cannot share memories and celebrate the event, but is geared towards a growing number of people coming to use the event to get photographs and footage for other purposes.
Please report any incidence of unauthorised photography or anyone asking for interviews to the event organiser, through the Information tent.
