Darren from Congeries of Sound and Dave from Avaja invite you to an "Introduction to Singing Bowls Workshop”
Join them as they explain the history of Bowls, how they are made, how to play a Bowl, the basics of frequency and chakras including an opportunity to watch a demonstration of a volunteer Standing in a large Bowl.
Note. This is not a Sound Bath and will last 40-50 minutes with time for Questions at the end. Both Darren and Dave will have stands as the event if you would specifically like to follow up with specifics after the Workshop.
Darren (Congeries of Sound) is based in Mansfield and David (Avaja) based in Worksop have been working together for 5 years combining Workshops, demonstrations, retailing and hosting Sound Events across the UK
Darren has been learning and offering sound therapies for the last 10 years. It's his full time job as well as his passion. He works mainly within the East Midlands Area offering Sound Bath's, Individual Sound Therapies and owns his own studio.
David embraced Sound Therapy through training with Master Bowl Maker Santa Ratna Shakya in Nepal 9 years ago and also specialises in sourcing both Singing Bowls and Gongs to retail in the UK describing what he does "As finding home for Singing Bowls by having a hobby that pays the bills". He has a passion for sharing his knowledge and passing on his learnings. He is currently working on hosting a Workshop in Nepal and the UK with Santa for 2026 as well as various events in the UK

Drumming - Reconnect with Rhythm with Mark and Debbie
Reconnect to the rhythms of life and experience the healing power of the drum. Explore the magic that takes place when your heart connects with others through Rhythm. We will start by connecting with the elements, and complete the journey with some joyful polyrhythm. I can accommodate drums and percussive instruments for up to 20 people so please bring your own Djembe or frame drum/ percussion if you can. All welcome and no experience necessary.

Walking the Labyrinth with Inner Path Wellbeing Solutions
This wonderful session will incorporate a short talk on the labyrinth, its history, its spiritual use and how I use it. We will then encourage you to walk it as a journey to let go of what you no longer need as well as contemplating any changes in life which you may wish to make. The walk is simple, and open to all - focusing on The 4 Rs - Remember, Release, Receive, Return which will be at the heart of this workshop, with healing always at the centre of the walk.
Our therapeutic approach is centred on empowering individuals to reclaim their personal power and assume control of their lives. It's a fact that many people adapt their fundamental personalities to fit into their surroundings, often losing touch with their core identity over time. This leads to a situational approach to problem-solving, rather than drawing on their inherent selves. Kit Temple, an experience healer and dowser, will teach you how to use dowsing and devices to check important areas – such as earth energies, electro smog and air quality. This will be an interactive workshop with templates provided for the audience to identify key areas of concern in your own home, and looking at practical solutions to solve these issues.
This workshop is suitable for both experienced dowsers as well as those who are new to dowsing. After attending the workshop, you will be able to make small adjustments to your home that can lead to big improvements in health over the long-term.
